上海建筑设计研究院有限公司(以下简称“SIADR”)由1953年“上海市建筑工程局生产技术处设计科”逐渐发展至今天，已整整半个多世纪。期间，1955年改称为“上海市建筑设计公司”，1956年发展为“上海民用建筑设计院”，1993年更名为“上海建筑设计研究院”；1998年上海院与华东建筑设计院合并成立“上海现代建筑设计(集团)有限公司”，同时保留“上海建筑设计研究院”名称。1999年7月，集团又对上海建筑设计研究院进行实地改制，改制成现有的“上海建筑设计研究院有限公司”。公司隶属上海现代建筑设计集团，是一家具有国家甲级勘察设计资质，享有对外经营权，以建筑设计为主的现代科技型企业，是中国成立最早、规模最大、影响力最大的综合性设计院之一。
1999年通过ISO9001质量保证体系国际认证，2002年通过ISO9001：2000版改版。 公司现有五个综合设计所，分别在文化建筑、体育建筑、会展与博览建筑、医疗建筑、教育建筑等领域各有专长，同时还有致力于空间结构设计研究、智能化系统设计研究和超高层结构设计研究等科研开发层的技术中心。公司在海南、厦门、深圳、西安、南昌、无锡、宁波、沈阳设有分公司，足迹遍及全国大部分省区；公司还曾远赴埃及、越南、毛里塔尼亚、尼日利亚、苏丹、俄罗斯、乌克兰、牙买加等国承接工程，创建了一大批优秀工程，赢得了客户的一致好评和广泛的社会赞誉。 五十多年来，SIADR累计完成2万余项工程的设计和咨询，创作成果遍及全国26个省市及全球10余个国家和地区，其中500多项工程设计、科研项目和标准设计获国家、建设部以及上海市优秀设计和科研进步奖。完成《标准设计施工规程编制》、《医疗建筑设计规范》、《城乡部推荐性设计规范》等规范近60项，《住宅塑料排水管施工安装图》、《全国房屋建筑工程设计统一技术措施》等标准图近20项，《建筑工程设计软件包》、《建设设计技术经济数据库》等软件编制近10项。
公司现有员工600余人，各类专业技术人员500多人，其中中国工程院院士1人，全国工程勘察设计大师2人，经国务院批准享受政府特殊津贴的专家4人，突出贡献的中青年专家2人；国家一级注册建筑师80余人，国家一级注册结构工程师90余人；具有高级职称资格的技术人员180余人，中级职称资格的技术人员190余人。 我们将长期遵循“精心设计、热情服务、诚实守信、勇于创新”的质量目标，为海内外广大业主提供最优质的设计服务，向社会奉献更多的优秀建筑。
■ INTRODUCTION OF SIADR
Shanghai Institute of Architectural Design and Research Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as SIADR)，evolved from the Design Section of Technology Department of Shanghai Construction Engineering Bureau , has been established for more than half century . During this period, its name and structure have been changed for many times. In 1955, it was named Shanghai Architectural Design Company, and changed to Shanghai Civil Architectural Design Institute in 1956. In 1993，its name was changed to Shanghai Institute of Architectural Design & Research. In 1998, SIADR was merged with East China Architectural Design Institute to establish Shanghai Xian Dai Architectural Design (Group) Co., Ltd. Meanwhile, the name of Shanghai Institute of Architectural Design & Research was reserved. But in July 1999, the system of the institute was reformed by the Group, and its name was changed to Shanghai Institute of Architectural Design & Research Co., Ltd. affiliated to the Group. Mainly engaged in architectural design and possessing the foreign business right, SIADR is a modern scientific and technological enterprise with the Class A License of architectural design and geotechnical exploration. It is one of the comprehensive design institutes in China with earlier foundation, largest scale and greatest effect. In 1999, SIADR passed the ISO9001 international authentication of BVQI of France, and in 2002, SIADR passed ISO9001 (2000 edition). Now SIADR has five comprehensive design departments, each having its own speciality in cultural buildings, sports buildings, convention & exhibition buildings, hospitals, educational buildings, etc. Meanwhile SIADR has a Technical Center engaged in space structural design & research, intelligence system design & research, super high-rise structural design & research, etc. SIADR has its branch companies in Hainan, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Xian, Nanchang, Wuxi Ningbo and shenyang. There are footmarks left by SIADR in most of the provinces and regions of our country. SIADR has also dispatched designers to undertake projects in Egypt, Vietnam, Mauritania, Nigeria, Sudan, Russian,Ukraine,Jamaica, etc., where a number of excellent projects have been designed. These projects are well received by the owners and society. Over 50 years, SIADR has completed the designs and consultancy of more than 20,000 projects, which have been erected in 26 provinces and cities across China and over 10 countries and regions all around the world. Among them, more than 500 projects, scientific research subjects and standardized designs have won prizes of excellent design and scientific & technological progress issued by the State, the Ministry of Construction and Shanghai. SIADR has finished almost 60 codes, including “Compilation of Regulations of Standard Design & Construction”, “Code for Design of Medical Buildings”, “Code for Recommended Design of the Town & Country Ministry”, etc., 20 items of standard drawings, including “Installation Drawings of the Construction of Plastic Drainage Pipes for Housing”, “Unified Technical Measures for Design of National Buildings”, etc. as well as 10 kinds of software, including “Software Package for Design of Building Engineering”, “Database of Tech-economy of Construction Design”. SIADR now has a staff of over 600,among whom more than 500 are professionals, including one academician of the Chinese Engineering,2design masters of the national geotechnical exploration,4 experts enjoying governmental special allowance approved by the State Council,2middle-aged experts with outstanding contribution, over 80 State Class One Registered Architects, over 90 State Class one Registered Structural Engineers, over 180 senior architects/engineers and over 190 architects/engineers. We will follow the aims of “elaborate design, warm service, honest and credit and continuous creation” so as to provide the best service to the owners both at home and abroad and to design more and more outstanding buildings for the society.
